8 th LEGAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND STUDIES
and
CALL FOR PAPERS
Climate change and biodiversity loss are among the most pressing environmental challenges of our time, posing severe threats to ecosystems, human health, and global economies. Rising global temperatures, extreme weather events, and habitat destruction have accelerated environmental degradation, endangered species and disrupting livelihoods worldwide. At the same time, these environmental crises raise critical human rights concerns, particularly for vulnerable populations that rely on natural resources for survival. The intersection of climate change, biodiversity, and law presents a crucial opportunity to develop and implement innovative legal frameworks that address these challenges in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. Effective environmental governance requires a balance between conservation efforts, resource management, and the protection of fundamental human rights. Legal mechanisms ranging from international treaties and national regulations to local conservation initiatives play a pivotal role in mitigating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring equitable access to resources. This conferennce aims to bring together international experts, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to explore legal solutions for addressing the global environmental crisis. Discussions will focus on the role of environmental law in climate adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity protection, and sustainable resource management. Additionally, the conferennce will examine how legal frameworks can integrate human rights principles to promote environmental justice and ensure a fair distribution of environmental benefits and burdens. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, this conferennce seeks to advance legal and policy solutions that support environmental sustainability, protect human rights, and promote responsible resource management in the face of an escalating global crisis.
